About the event
Being in rhythm for a few days can regulate your nervous system.
The use of simple, repeating stepping patterns allows one's mind to rest.
Then, the complexity can occur with the voice--in call and response singing or in changing patterns on tihe drum.
Most of this rhythmic curriculum is internal. We are referencing ourselves...our inner knowing about spatial orientation, "gear shift timing", offbeats. It's all in us.... but we have to find a door to enter.
